I’m a Sheffield-based filmmaker, editor and visual storyteller with 20 years’ experience working across video production, post-production and motion design. My career has taken me from self-shooting and directing documentaries and branded content to working as a social content editor at Channel 4, as well as contributing to broadcast and long-form productions including RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop and the BBC-commissioned Game’s Gone: The Steve Bracknall Podcast. I’m equally comfortable behind the camera or in the edit, with experience spanning offline editing, multicamera workflows, motion graphics, animation, colour and visual design.
I enjoy working collaboratively to turn ideas, interviews and raw footage into engaging, character-led stories, while bringing a strong technical understanding of the production and post-production process. Whether I’m leading a production from concept through to delivery or working as part of a larger creative team, I combine editorial judgement with a practical, hands-on approach. My work has covered documentary, entertainment, branded content, social and broadcast, and I’m now focused on bringing that breadth of production and post-production experience into more long-form and broadcast editing environments.
